We've Moved! Aspire IT's New Home in Swinton, Salford
Better transport links, fantastic local amenities and plenty of room to grow — here's why our move from Trafford Park to Swinton is great news for our team and our customers.
After many happy years at Parkway Trading Estate in Trafford Park, we're thrilled to announce that Aspire IT Services has moved to a brand-new home in Swinton, Salford. Our new office at 50 Invar Road, Swinton, M27 9HF opens a fresh chapter for the business — and we couldn't be more excited to share it with our customers, partners and team.
In this short post I'll walk you through why we chose Swinton, what it means for the people we work with, and what's next as we settle in.
Why we moved
Trafford Park served us well. It's been Aspire's base for years, and the location worked beautifully for our growing business. But as the team has expanded and our service offering has broadened — managed IT, cyber security, telecoms, contact centre platforms and our growing hardware leasing operation — we'd simply outgrown the space.
Rather than squeeze a bit more out of a building that was already at capacity, we made the call to find somewhere bigger, better connected, and ready to scale with us over the next decade. After a careful search across Greater Manchester, the answer was Swinton.
Why Swinton?
Swinton sits in the heart of the City of Salford, just a few minutes from central Manchester. For us, three things in particular tipped the balance:
1. Brilliant transport links
Whether you're coming to see us by car, train or bus, getting to our new office is genuinely easy:
- Motorway access: the M60 is on our doorstep, with junction 14 just minutes away. From there it's a quick hop to the M61, M62 and M6 — connecting us to the rest of the North West and beyond. Customers driving in from Bolton, Bury, Wigan and Stockport now have a much smoother journey than the old Trafford Park run.
- Rail: Swinton railway station is a short walk away, with direct services to Manchester Victoria (around 12 minutes) and onward connections across the country.
- Buses: the new Bee Network has frequent routes through Swinton linking directly to Manchester city centre, Salford Quays, MediaCityUK, Walkden, Bolton and Eccles.
- Cycling & walking: for those of us pedalling in, there are dedicated cycle routes around the local roads — and secure cycle storage at the new office.
2. Local shopping & amenities
One of the unexpected pleasures of the move has been the local shopping right on our doorstep. Swinton has a proper town-centre feel:
- The Lancastrian Hall area and Swinton high street are walkable from the office, with cafés, banks, the local market and plenty of independents.
- Major supermarkets (Morrisons, Aldi, Asda) are all close by for the team's grocery runs and lunch breaks.
- For client lunches and after-work catch-ups, there's a growing roster of cafés, restaurants and gastropubs in Swinton, Worsley and Monton — all a short drive away.
3. Access to a thriving local business community
Salford has quietly become one of the most exciting business districts in the UK — and Swinton sits right in the middle of it.
- MediaCityUK and Salford Quays are a short drive away — home to the BBC, ITV and a growing cluster of creative, media and tech businesses.
- Manchester city centre is genuinely 15–20 minutes from our door — putting us closer to many of our customers than we ever were in Trafford Park.
- Swinton itself has a strong community of SMEs across professional services, healthcare, legal, recruitment and light manufacturing — exactly the kind of businesses we love supporting. We're already enjoying meeting more of our neighbours.
Our new space: room to grow
The other big driver behind the move was simple: more space. Our new Invar Road premises give us a meaningful step up over our previous footprint — and that matters in three ways:
- Room for the team to expand. We're hiring across IT support, telecoms engineering and contact-centre operations. The new office has the desk space and meeting rooms to comfortably take us through the next phase of growth.
- A dedicated hardware & staging area. We can now configure, image and stage customer hardware in-house at much higher volumes — speeding up onboarding for new managed-services customers and our leasing-and-rentals pipeline.
- Proper customer space. A welcoming reception area, modern meeting rooms and a demo space mean we can host customers for product walk-throughs (including live demos of Apex CCP), training sessions, and proper workshops — without having to "borrow a corner of the office" as we sometimes did at the old place.
What it means for you, our customer
The honest answer: nothing changes about the service you get from us. Same UK-based team, same phone number, same email addresses, same friendly support. What does change is what's possible — a faster onboarding pipeline, more capacity, and the ability to host you in person whenever you'd like to come over for a chat or a demo.
Come and see us
We'd love to show you around. If you're an existing customer, a partner, or just curious to drop in for a brew — we're at:

Here's to the next chapter — and thank you for being part of the journey with us.
